The design of the first generation TA V-6 heads has been finalized. The patterns will next be modified to reflect changes so the casting process for the production run can be done.

There will be 2 versions of heads initially, Street Eliminator and Track Eliminator. There will be only one casting for both versions. The difference will be in finish machining.

Street Eliminator heads will be CNC port-matched to stock intake and exhaust gasket sizes. They will accept stock rocker shafts or roller rockers. In other words, stock replacement heads with much greater performance. One major difference however, they ALL will be drilled for 14 head bolts. There will not be a cast-in pedestal for the rocker shafts but a fabricated one that bolts to the head. Under this bracket will be the 3 "upper" bolt holes for Stage block or TA block use. The "lower" holes for the 14 bolt useage are exposed on the edge of the head as Buick did the Stage heads.

Track Eliminator versions will be essentially the same but will be CNC matched to Felpro 1200 intake gaskets and 1400 exhaust gaskets. A rocker shaft bracket will be designed to accomodate
"paired" shaft roller rockers for these heads.

The prototype Street Eliminators set should be starting the evaluation process in about 2 weeks. A Track Elim set is being readied for the first alum block testing which will be going together in about 3-4 weeks.

Production is now planned for Feb 2003.

First Question: What valves are these heads going to have? Will they vary between the Street Eliminator and Track Eliminator.

Second Question: Will stock headers work on both heads?

Third Question: Can we use T&D Roller Rockers on these heads?
I would appreciate if you could answer these questions for me. :)
