Tall Tires

Hi guys I just wanted to know what effect running a tall tire on a slower GN somewhere in the 12.80- 13.20 range would have on performance. I have heard mixed reviews on this and would like your opinions. The tires will be in the 27"-28" range.

I would say nothing. True slicks or street tires?

With street tires, you'll be able to launch at much higher boost without them spinning. Mechanical advantage provided by shorter tires is only an advantage if the tires don't spin.

On a slippery track wou will be faster, on a sticky track, its a wash.

taller tires = better gas milage

thats a little off topic but hey we should all try getting the best MPG at a time like this...
