Have any of you guys running this turbo got into the 11's on pump gas, i.e., low boost? I know they aren't good at low boost settings, compressor surge and all. I have champion ported irons and champion intake, 210/210 billet roller, just wondering if 11's are possible on pump gas. My nearest track has a "fun night", and they don't have race fuel and you can't run slicks. I think a high 11 second car would cover the field there.

I got mid 11's on a 63 on pump gas and street chip. I think the 45A should be good for low 11's on pump gas@ 20 PSI. That is my on-par setting for comparison...20 PSI. I think you see more surge when a couple of things are missing....good flowing heads, big intercooler and large pipes. If you have these things I don't think you will get it. Least I didn't.

Depends how much boost you can run without detonation. At the very least I would run 100 octane unleaded or a xylene mix just for a bit of safety.

I run between 25 and 27lbs of boost with mine and run 94 Octane and alky. I have spent time tuning mine. But to let you know, I have gone well into the 11's on radials with mine.
