TE44 .63 vs .82 housing

Hello all,

My TE44 currently has the .82 housing with a 3500 no l/u converter. Will the Garrett .63 make significant difference in bottom end power? My car is a 100% street car and lower boost is desired with excellent throttle response.

I believe the estimate on that is the .85 is rated @ 20 h.p. higher. This means slower spool-up but better top end. The .63 will spool quicker but have less top end. I think most people running .85 housings are strip cars and .63 users have street cars. Of course there are exceptions.
