NEED TO KNOW IF THE STEEL HEADGASKETS, SO CALLED BULLETPROOF, BY RJCRACING, IF ANY GOOD! MY GN IS DRIVEN BASICALLY EVERY DAY UNLESS ITS S**TY OUT. IM REBUILDING, HOPELY BE READY FOR NATS, BUT NEED AN OPTION ON HEADGASKETS...NO COPPER...

the steel shims have been proven to be one of teh most detonation resistant HGs around. only prob is under heavy detonation if they dont give something else may. Red ran a single steel shim for a long time and went way lean on a few occasions (600s O2s) and they finally gave out but not after takin a beating. he also runs a single steel shim for more compression and 30 psi from a T-70 on top of that. when i do ported heads and cam in my car soon i plan on running a single steel shim on both sides.

thanks i think ill stay w/ the felpro, i was saying the same thing " if that dont give, something else will" and its so easy to do headgaskets on.
