Teflon tape or Liquid for WP Bolts?

Is it ok to use teflon tape for the water pump bolts that go through the jacket or should I use the liquid type? Specifically, this is for the two long bolts on the lower passenger side of the water pump.

It might not matter, but I used the liquid teflon on WP with no leaks. A engine builder did recommend the liquid stuff as well.

I use a little silicone.

i just put on my front cover and used TFE teflon paste in a tube on all bolts...works for me

I usually use the tape for everything, oher than nitrous connections.
