Terry Houston 3 inch down pipe with dump

just got a thdp with dump,wondering what performance difference over a conventional 3 inch dp....and how much more performance with the dump open?

I ran consistant 12.7's all day in a bracket race (through the hooker catback). Got eliminated and ran time only the rest of the night in the 12.5's. So almost 2 full tenths with the dump open.

Iam yet to run at the track but i can feel the difference with the dump open or closed and it sounds like a beast i love it. and great engineering in this product.

The vibration of the dump being open causes my horn button to close and the horn honks....crazy thing.

The performance gain will depend on how long the wastgate rod is. Remember to legnthen it or you will be overboosting and blowing headgaskets.

When I got mine, I found the difference to be alot. Like in my sig, wasnt even trying and I got 12.9 17psi dump open. Thats from a 13.21 best at 20psi.

I don't know what's up with me but I lost 1 mph both times that I opened the dump. I saw 2 other GN's - on different days - open the THDP dumps and slow down.

Well to tell you the truth I have never tried it with the dump closed at the track. There is a high flow cat, and I would imagine that it would slow down with the cat flowing.
