THDP and 3' exhaust

All,

I was wondering what kind of performance gains I can expect from my new THDP and 3' exhaust system.

I ran the car before through the stock exhaust system. no cat, and it went 13.05 @106 with 114 Trick Flow race gas and 21 pnds of boost on street tires. 275-60-15 BFG to be exact....

I will be testing it out on 11 July with 275-60-15 DR. Thanks for any replies....

With a stock turbo and that kind of boost the THDP will not give you much. Howerver with a bigger turbo and more boost you will see a improvement. A quality exhaust system is a must. The ATR 3" systems are great and will last forever.

We find the THDP a good improvement over the stock DP.

At which track are you going to try it on the 11th?

No comparison

For me, I got a 3" single all the way back. With a high flow cat also there is no comparison to my old setup. It wasnt a hooker or anything just the midas special, but I am very happy with it. You will have gains for sure. My guess is a 12.8x at least if you had a 13.05 previously IMO.

I got a 13.21 with shot timing gear (didnt know), crappy valve springs (shifted before red lining), caked IC, 3" dp but stock elbow

Nick - I will be going to Qualcom Stadium on the 11th, It's only an 1/8 mile, but it better than driving through all the dirt at Carlsbad.

microelvis - I know what you mean by no compairson... I normally only run 10 psi on the street to keep me out of trouble and man! I felt a huge diffrence once this system was installed, and it sounds awesome! I have the 3" high flow cat and Dyno max muffler.

The Suburban has been down dirt roads before and so has the trailer.
