this problem is driving me crazy need help

ive had my boost set at 14 pounds and the car knocks when i get into about 5 - 8 pounds i have changed the MAF, IAC,O2,MAT,COIL,AND THE EGNITION CONTROL MODULE and it still knocks but the thing is it only knocks when it back fires at the 5-8 pounds of boost (I HAVE ALSO CHECKED FOR THE BATTERY CABLE HITTING THE HEADERS) the fuel delivery is also correct

Have you checked the cam sensor to make sure it is adjusted properly.

no i havent didnt think it could be that if the car backfires and the knock sensor reads at 14 degrees of heat

There was a car that as soon as it hit 3-5lbs of boost the knock would wrap around, problem was fixed by rebuilding the turbo. Just my two sense.

what is your fuel pressure my car would knock at 14 15 psi and backfire only to find out the fuel pump was going bad and i was running lean which caused the backfire. do you have a scanner? what are your o2's? and what chip are you running? make sure its not a race chip with high timing.
