Can someone pls take a look under their hood and let me know if below is correct for 86-87? I did a Powerplate install and want to make sure the way I put the throttle cables back together is right.

FAT CABLE coming out of firewall goes to bottom of throttle (facing the drivers side) No dclip holding it on just a smaller looking clip.

Thin cable coming from over by pmaster goes to bottom of throttle (facing passanger side). DClip holding it on.

Other cable comes out from by coilpack and goes to top of throttle.

Thanks for looking. No one close by to compare to and I have a habit of overlooking obvious details like this. Thanks for the insurance!

Gary,

I checked under mine. I haven't looked under the hood for months...the motor is still there! :-)

The top cable is the tranny kickdown (the cable should end up on the right side of the tranny)
The cable that would be on the far left side of the car where it connects at the throttle body is the throttle cable, it should head into and through the firewall.
The cable that sits on the far right/botton of the throttle body is the cruise control cable, it should travel under the hood to the cruise servo thats mounted on the left inner fender well.
Hope this helps.
