anybody know what to do if the throttle is sticking, I don't know if its the tvcable or actual throttle body. I lubed up the tv cable and seems to work better for a while, its quite dangerous. Any suggestions?

it sticks at any part of the pedal travel. I sprayed lube on the tv cable and it seemed to help for a while but the sticking is back.thanks

One time in my MCSS I nailed the gas and when I let up the car kept going. I killed the motor pulled over and a squirrel or something had placed a walnut on my intake and when I nailed it the walnut jammed under the throttle linkage.

So you might check for walnuts.

Have you cleaned the carbon buildup in the throttle body? This is a routine maint. thing on fuel injection engines.

If the car has cruise control, take the cruise cable off to see if that might be whats binding.
If thats not it, take the TV cable off, see if that is whats binding.
If thats not it, take the throttle cable off, see if that is whats binding.

If everything else is off, check the throttle body and see if thats the culprit.

Do all the above with the engine NOT running

LOL walnuts
