We have the caspers Cam tool and we are needing to check the timing. We have no more stickers and didn't think of making a copy. Does anyone have a copy or know where we can get these? Or even a measurement?

Thanks

the measurement is 1.45 inches. that will bring it to 25 degrees atdc

Best thing to do which I've done on both my cars is to notch the balancer with a hack saw blade at 25 ATDC and then brush some white paint in the notch...I also put white paint in the TDC notch...never have to use those stickers again...

I take masking tape. measure 1.45 inches with my caliper. Mark it ou on the tape. Place the tape on the balancer with the one mar on the zero of the balncer and then tpae. Line the second mark on tape with pointer and 25 degrees. When done remove the tape and you are ready to go.

That is 1.45 inches with the stock cam correct ?

Just wondering cause the timing gear and chain was recently done on my car, and the lower gear was so far gone it was crazy. Should the timing be checked now or would it retain its setting after the new gear and chain were installed ?
