I want to mount a bracket about 3-4" behind the console by drilling 4 holes right into the top of the hump. From my memory of changing u-joints, there is nothing in the tunnel there except the drive shaft, right? No brake lines or electrical wiring to worry about?
...............Your safe to drill there. just dont use to long of a bolt or screw.
