I know someone just recently posted on this same situation I believe but anyway, my car seems to fall off in 3rd. I did a DIY alky kit and went a little to big on the jet size(.40 instead of .32) and noticed as well that I might have washed my cylinders with too much alky which could have been the problem too since i checked my oil and it was well above the full mark. I did do a oil change though and my new jet is on the way,but was wondering if my valve springs are the issue too?
Im running about 23p.s.i right now on the stock springs. I have comp 980's waiting to go in and Im hoping these help out???

What's the chip doing in 3rd? 93 street chips normally cut way back on timing on the 2-3 shift.

When is it falling down in third? You don't really feel the effects of valve springs until the top of third. low timing you will feel from the shift onward.
