torq converter

Any one heard of a torq. converter causein knock . Did too many things at once and having trouble running down bugs. just thought I would ask before putting my stock one back in

i heard of the bolts that bolt the tq conv. on to the flywheel getting loose and causing knock. might want to check them before you go replacing things.

I have seen a convertor that causes knock higher RPMs and it was new and worked great except for setting off the knock sensor. This is not common however it's usually the bolts.
