I was at the track for the first time ever tongiht. It is 1/8 mile at Irwindale Raceway in LA somewhere. I really didnt care about reaction times so I wont post them. How is my car running? Only Speed* parts would be 275/50/15 BF T/A is back and smaller ones in front, upgraded fuel pump, ram air, shift kit, it has stock posi, boost set at 14lbs. I tried to leave the line with 3lbs of boost. I did try 4-5 but the guy held us at the line soo long I started to actually move foreward into a deep stage. Then green some tire spin and had to let off. I did a total of 5 runs, first three I had a passeger so I wont post those. the last two was by myself but not much faster .4 and about 1 mph.

60' 2.286
330 6.257
1/8 0.547
74.03

#2 60' 2.285
330 6.232
1/8 9.516
74.3

Sorry no scanmaster readings, unfortunatly its thursday and it comes friday!!!

oh yeah and... Shouldnt I have a quicker time and trap speed??? I know my 60's were not great...

Glad you got to go out for the first time man. No opinion on the times, just wanted to say congrats. Though honestly, 0.547 in the 8th is pretty amazing! What's your setup? ;)

Your 60-foot times are killing you. 9.50 in the 1/8 equates to high 14s in the 1/4 but I'm sure you could do better with improved launches.

I don't think those times are too bad. When my car was basically stock at 155k miles, I was running about the same : ~9.2@75 mph, 60' ~ 2.0-2.1. You prolly can't go without a cat converter, so maybe replace it with a new high-flow. I went down to a consistant 8.8@79 when I put on a test pipe.

I know my 60' foot killed me, it didnt matter if someone was in the car or not I still managed a 2.2xx every time.
I need more practice and now my scanmaster is here today so i will post the data.
