Just seeing if anyone wants to trade a set of GN1 alum. heads for nice ported set and T&D's? The Gn1's were just pressure checked for cracks, new seals and roller cam springs installed. O ringed to use Felpro 1007 HG's. These are 8/11 bolt heads. I'm looking for a nice set of ported big valve Irons with 1.55 T&D's.

This is the only pic I have for now....

somewhat interested.

I have a good flowing set of irons on my car, with 1.65 T&D's.

I will be pulling the engine in the not-to-distant future.

What is your schedule?

Bob

Nick is a stand up guy,if the turbo smokes he must have never had it on the car after he bought it,,Nick is very meticulous about everything...

+2 Nick is a good guy.

Nick if you don't strike a deal with Bob, give me a call.

+3 for nick ...great guy ...sold me a downpipe last year even with guys trying to buy it out from undre me.

guys be careful. got a turbo from this guy that smokes.

Dude, you need to move on....... and find a better hobby! This is all you do, PM people about Nick and post crap like this! Like I explained to you before, the turbo you got from Nick was bought from Jack Cotton and put on Nicks car we went on a 100+ miles or so to a Buick show then pulled the turbo off. Nick wanted to go a different route so he sold the turbo. I was there when he took everything a part and EVERY THING was in perfect condition including his motor that you so questioned.

Nick is a stand up guy like others stated here! Once again your attempt to drag his name in the mud FAILED!!

Here is the atual add and the pictures of the turbo as we took it off the car to put it up for sale. You look at the exhaust side and the compressor side......do you see any oil? is it wet? You have issues BUD!

Besides, you contact Nick about a year later and tells him that it's bad? The turbo was under warranty and Nick could have done something for you even though there was nothing wrong with it when it was shipped to you.

you are the only person i pmd about this. that turbo had alot more than 100 miles on it. the bolts on the compressor and exhaust housings look someone took an adjustible wrench to them. you guys must have missed this as it smokes only when you close the throttle, there is a vacuum in the exhaust for a split second that pulls oil past the seal. i have no reason to accuse you or a bad sale for something i did, if i screwed it up i would take the blame. since you are nicks defender and have such a great reputation why dont you make good on it for him.

you can only see oil on the backing plate as it is not pressurized into the exhaust. as i stated in my last post it pulls oil when the throttle is closed.

you have never bought parts and put them on the shelf until it was time to put them on the car. i had no reason to believe the turbo had an issue or i surely would have tested it sooner.

some poeple just cannot own up to their screw ups.

It's been way too long to come back and start accusing. I don't know anyone who would stand behind any used part that long. It's just not realistic. That should go without saying.

As far as your theory, are you sure your not pulling oil from somewhere else? Like the pcv? Is oil getting on the plugs? I would be digging a little deeper. That turbo was fine and there was no bad intentions by Nick. He would never do that to anyone. I promise you that.

Start a new thread about your problem and we'll help try and figure it out.

You have to learn how to read bud...... No one said it only has 100 miles, hell the original add says “It has about 1000 miles" I said we went on a 100+ miles trip with that turbo. I drove behind Nick all the way there and back because Nick only has a tree speed trans so I made sure that we drove at his pace. All the time there and back I did not see any hints of smoke. If there were any issues I would have pointed that out to Nick and he would have sent the turbo back to Jack Cotton as it was under warranty. Once again I will say your problem is else where.

There is no reason for me to "make good" on behalf of Nick because he has not done anyone wrong. He is just being falsely accused.

This is a very small community and we all look after each other. No one here needs to screw each other. The bottom line is; if Nick knew the turbo was bad, he could have send it back to Jack and get it fixed under the warranty, He had zero issues with it so he sold it here on the board. You on the other hand waited (so he claims) almost a year and comes back and tells Nick that it's bad. Why should we take your word that "you just bolted it on now” where you're can't even trust not just Nick but others also that confirmed the turbo was great working condition. Should Nick turn around and accuse Jack Cotton for selling him a turbo that was good when he had it on his car then it started smoking when someone else bought it?

Also you say that "I am Nicks defender" In this case, I was minding my own business until you started with the PMs saying "watch out for this guy". There fore I had to respond. Regardless, I will defend an honest man!!

It’s too late to cry over spilled milk!

If you have a problem, take it to the feedback section. Nicks looking for a set of heads, thats what this thread is about. Or maybe you can post it in one of your threads so we can all go onto it and litter it up. Let the man try to find a set of heads and leave your issues out of it. Start your own thread. Thanks BUD!

no problem buds, nicks little army has me out numbered, just wanted to let anyone considering nicks heads to beware.
