Trans cooler lines - line wrench size

I'm trying to borrow tools from work, crows foot(pictured in sticky removal thread) to attach to my ratchet for removal of the transcooler line at the transmission side. What size are the "flare nuts" on the transmission side? I thought they were 3/8" or 7/16", but a guy at work says on the trans side they are a 1/2". Just want to confirm, so I can get the correct tool.
