If I change a timing setting in the T+ do I have to turn the car off and on again to get the readings to "take". If they work on the fly then I would probably mount mine in the car somewhere. Otherwise I will probably leave it under the hood.

As far as I know you can change it on the fly,mount it in the car keeps it safe from rain and more fun to play with.

I know at least the base MAF settings are only read at power up so I was wondering about the timing adjustments.

The DIP switches are read at power up.

The dials are read continuously. Any change inthe dial setting takes effect after about .5 sec.
