I shot the leverevolution threw my 30/30 and the ballistic tip ones threw my 270 and I was very very pleased.

I also used some hog hammers in my 30/30 and liked them as well.

Shooting 125-225 with the 30/30 hunting pigs and 300-450 with the 270 hunting and sighting it in good.

I agree. My old Remington 7mm rem mag loves hornady 139gr BTSP's. Shoots quarters at 200 yds. The weatherby can't stand em - 3-4 inch groups at best. Hornady ammo is great ammo, but I've found that different rifles like different loads. It's just a matter of figuring out what the rifle likes.

My scalpel is a bone stock Remington 700 BDL in .22-250 with a 2# trigger job. I feel like a surgeon with it when shooting cheap ass Winchester 45gr JHP varmint loads.

My 243 is just a so-so rifle so far. No luck yet.
