I am getting ready to swap my car over to a Turbo 400. I think i have everything covered on the swap except for the driveshaft. I did a search of the forums and searched the vendors websites, but didn't what i was looking for.
Does anyone have a yoke/u-joint/driveshaft package ready to go to swap a 400 into Buicks or would i be better off to let my local driveshaft shop fix me something up?
What needs to be swapped in the rear-end to do this swap?

Thanks for any help,

Geoff

I get my d/s parts from the folks at PST, in Clearwater, Fl.
SUPER nice to deal with, fast service, and they even know wtf they are talking about!!

I bought mine from Strange. It is a 3" chrome-moly with 1350 u joints. I also bought there differential yoke. My stock D.S. was about 1 inch too long. Great price and quick service. You will have too throw some paint on it though as it is bare steel. Jeremy

Thanks for the replies guys!
I will look into them.

Any other input??

I bought mine from Dynotech.

It's a 3.5" aluminum shaft with a 1350 front U-joint and factory sized rear joint to fit the stock 10-bolt. It was $395 + 6% PA sales tax. Free shipping.

I called Denny's Driveshaft first, but the guy wanted to sell me something I didn't want or need. He was a complete a$$ and wouldn't build me the shaft that Dynotech was more than happy to build... and for $200 less.

I ordered from Dynotech on a Friday, the shaft arrived the following Thursday.

I believe my measurement was 53.5" from seal to rear U-joint CL. Not all cars measure the same, so you should measure yours to confirm.
