turbo boost signal in instrument cluster

Doing a GNX dash conversion and would like to use the boost indicator signal at lower right corner of cluster to power a variable intensity led. I have plumbed the boost gauge directly from the throttle body, so do not need to power a gauge, however I would like to include an additional led using the OE electrical boost signal. Does anyone know what strength of signal powers the boost indicator on original dash or what type of led would be needed?

Also, any different ideas would appreciated.

Not sure the signal is strong enough to power a led directly-buffer may be required

I meant for signalling, not driving an LED. That could be a pretty complex circuit.
