turbo seal, how hard is it to change it, can i do it myself, and do they sell the parts at the auto parts store,

Good luck finding parts in an auto parts store. I work part time at Pep Boys and they dont have anything for a GN thats specific to the turbo 6. They only have general parts that fit all G-body cars. If you want the seal in the turbo, you are best off looking online. I've found a whole rebuild kit for about $80. When you do look, its going to be listed as a T3/T4 turbo, according to the one company I contacted a while back. The name escapes me though, so I apologize.

Try Turbo City out here in Orange Ca. I used them on my stock rebuild and its holding up really well. here is a link...good luck

You might be better off buying a used stock turbo, or sending yours to PTE for a rebuild?

thanks everyone, i picked up another turbo tonight, it solved the problem, now the oil just has to burn off.
