Has anyone used one of these I have ben seeing them on E-Bay alot, Just wondering if it was any good.

Thanks for the Input

I use the one I was sent for testing by TurboBill at Special Additions available from another Buick website.

It works well between my turbo and the THDP, I had a slight leak that used to dump some residue on my oil filter and that area, clean as a whistle now.

Fit well decent thickness and material seemed strong enough, however I only take that pipe off every 2 years for emissions testing. ;)

Hopefully it will be reusable in 2 years.

I've never seen the ones on ebay.

Would you happen to remember the phone # or website you got yours from ?

Thanks

.

I think I got mine from there as well. only issue I noticed regarding an externally gated dp is that the gasket is only the outer oval and doesn't seal the waste port from the main exhaust outlet...meaning it would allow some exhaust to escape the waste port into the main exhaust run causing boost to be slightly lower than it could be. for an internal flapper type it should work fine though. unfortunately for me I am unable to use them.

There's also some excellent clothing, custom embroidery if you want, and other cool stuff like a great fender cover there too.

Product Detail Special Additions

And of course RJC also makes one and is most likely a great product as well.

I haven't used that one however.

My install was simple, scrape away any and all excess burnt and unburnt orange Hi-Temp. copper RTV that was used to seal the lower area which leaked a bit on my car, then install the gasket dry.

I use studs so you have to be careful to get the gasket started evenly and slide it onto the turbo housing studs slowly so you don't bend it up or tear it, then get the pipe over it and tighten the nuts with the lock washers.

No exhaust spec.'s anywhere now. :)
