Is there a turbo out there that is comparible to a ta-49, is dual ball bearing, and will work with a stock torque converter? Thanks for any feedback.

No real need for a dual ball bearing for such a small turbo unless the convertor is out of a NA regal IMO.

Running a standard ta49 and RJC bleeder in my dads WE4 seems to spool just as quick as the stock turbo with the stock D5 convertor.

22psi and 24° its running great on methanol

If you are really concerned, the GT3255e from precision spools faster than the 49 and 44s but doesnt give the top end charge like the larger turbos from what ive read.
