Just got a new Dell laptop,and it does not have a serial port.I located a adapter tha
t switches the usb port to a serial port,will Turbolink recognize it.

It should, it's just an adapter so it should work. Only one way to find out =).

I would check with Ken and see which adapters he recommends. I know he has said some of the adapters work well and others cause problems.

yup. I use a belkin F5U103 but he might have found something different by now.

Talk to them on the phone today,they recommended I contact Purple Compute. Thanks for for help.
