TV cable won't ratchet out (700R4)

Resumed troubleshooting my 700R4 in my 86 MCSS. Went to reset the TV cable and is does not racthet out at all.

??? When I swapped out the 200 for the 700 I re-used the TV cable, do I need a different length cable?

Currently the 1-2 shift is too soon, 2-3 and 3-4 are fine under part throttle, wont shift 2-3 or 3-4 at WOT, the loss of upshift at WOT just started happening after I installed new headers and exhaust.

Hold the throttle open & adjust the cable out so it`s tight. If you can`t get the cable tight @ WOT either you have the wrong one or it`s stretched.

Thanks, I will check it again, but last I looked it was tight at WOT.

It's not too far off for sure, and the cable is relatively new, I checked my records and did replace it a few years ago, albeit another one for a MCSS with a 2004R.
