what are the steps on adjusting the tv cable,once its set to stock how do i make it shift firmer

You move it all the way back, then push on the gas hard and it should click into place. Mine shifts VERY hard after doing that

Once set to factory spec (see post above), you can tweek it a little - not much (a notch or 2). You have to remember, this cable controls pressure and effects the whole trans. If it is to far out of wack, you will destroy the trans.

Mine does the same thing. I think this means the cable is stretched so you will just have to set it where it feels right in the shifts (not too hard).
