type II coil pack and ING. mod install

today i installed a Type II coil pack/ign. mod. on my car today. it seemed faily strait forward. remove plug wires, unbolt the old coil pack, disconnect the harness, install the type II pack, reinstall the harness, install the plug wires, remove the ing. mod.


right? did i miss something its throwing a code. i dont have a Scantool. so i dont know what the code is. it start and runs fine (idles a bit high) but i get an SES light.

Pull the code with a gem clip then look it up on the gnttype.org site and lets see what ya got...

42 is the code.

the coil is grounded by the 2 nuts and the 1 bolt in back right? welp in test the new pack i did not bolt it up. i will try that...
