Hello all,

I am hoping to replace all the 17 year old vaccuum hoses on my GN. Does anyone know all the sizes, lengths etc.?? Also, where to buy them??

Thanks in advance for your time,

Ravi

Just match them up with the old. If you get three feet of 9/32", 7/32" and 5/32" you should have more than enough. Also replace the check valves and make sure they are in the right place.

hoses

Hi,
I'm in agreement , and think your primary needs will be 5/32 and 1/4 There isn't much hose on a Turbo Buick...

check valves

Do you mean replace the check valves with NEW ones?? If so, get them at GM??

Thanks,

Ravi

There are two of the two-way ones (PN 14047619), one before the canister and one before the EGR. There should be another one (PN 16037778) that is a three-way and connects to the cruise and HVAC sections of the system coming from the T in front of the EGR.

maybe this will help

hose job

Hey don't forget the Y shaped hose from the sol. on the valve cover to the turbo... If that one fails you may not need the other hoses.

And, like Steve Wood suggested in another thread....

...get a bag of ty-wraps and do each hose that sees boost. This will help prevent any sudden unwanted vacuum (or boost) leaks.

That is the wrong part number for the three-way check valve.

Correct part number is 14056648.
