Need to change my valve springs in my car but the spring manufacturer has a few options:

Naturally the springs are dual springs
Option 1 - With damper or no dampers

Option 2 - Spring cup or spring locator

With too many options, things get confusing.

Thanks

Billy,

Do you have some more specifics ? Installed heights, diameter limites, cam? etc etc.

PSI Springs preferred

W/ no damper, cryoe'd & coated, lapped (polished) on the head side seat only, w/ a locking 3 piece keeper and a (very) snug fitting retainer and a tight spring seat.
I use a 4' lapping table. Springs on end with a ball bearing that is the same diameter as the spring and use medium and then fine polish grit (makes a nice finish). Very fine stainless steel winding from the drawing process (or steel wool) on the interference surface of the springs and whatever else you care to do.
I've been using a touch longer stem to allow for less coil bind (on a spin-tron the springs run cooler).
It would positive to hear some other ideas other than typical no tricks assembly.
