VDO oil pressure sending unit

I have a GNX dash I have had for years. I just put in an uncut wiring harness. My old harness had lots of cut wires. What wire goes to the sending unit? My fuel pump only comes on if I touch the pink and tan together. My old harness only used one wire. I tried all three but no fuel pump. The pink is hot with the key on or off.

The tan wire goes to the sending unit. I also have an old AVC GNX dash w/ VDO gauges. I just tapped into the tan wire and left the OEM oil pressure sending unit connector hanging.

thanks, now I need to figure out how the pink/blk wire is hot with no key. Is the pink/black wire even supposed to be hot with or with out the key being on?

may have found it. I think I sliced the wrong pink/blk wire for the inj. for my FAST.
