very sparatic car

The car has been like this as long as i can remember. i hit the throttle once and it runs very well. 10 seconds later do the same thing and its a slug.

there really is no order in which it happens. it can run good then bad, or bad then good, or good all day long then bad, or bad all day and then start running good.

anythings to look for or ideas?

it almost feels like its getting a lot of knock when its running bad, but i know thats not the case.

Are you talking about takeoff? Sometimes mine takes off quick from a stop sign, and sometimes it kinda lags (i think it's just a computer slip up)

Have you checked wires, coil, etc?

right off the line (first 1/2 sec. or so) it always has a quick lag. this is all the way from the time i start going till i let out. usually from a roll, mainly because i don't like to stop and launch.

plug wires are fairly new, coil pack and ignition module are both very new.
