very very very weird boost problems

ok guys see if you can figure this one out. first thing is everytime i go to adjust boost on the WG rod i take the rod off turn it in or out and every time i put it back on and take the car for a ride i have to boost in first and half of second. after 2 passes the boost comes back in. next prob is massive slow spool in first gear when launching it doesnt come on hard till about 10psi or more. so i figure the stock WG setup i didnt like so i changed it to a tuner style which i had on last time. now the boost comes on slow still then falls off a little in third gear up top. the last setup i had was the WG hooked up tuner style and i would have it set to 20 psi and i would hit 20 in first and hold it through ewvery gear now it takes for ever to get to the psi i set it for. i then took off the DP to see the puck and it is covering the hole just it seems the puck is alot bigger then the hole. there is maybe a little more the a 1/4" carbon fiber line around the hole so can it be covering too much of the hole? any ideas on how to get the oost to spool up quick to lets say 17 and hold it in every gear like it did before? thanks guys
