I am not a veteran but we have a big parade and free BBQ every year here in my hometown. My granfather was a WWII Vet.

I was there at the "blue cube" in the early 2000's

I level Hydraulics/Pneumatics aircraft mechanic. I worked on all of em, but mostly helicopters.

Now I work as a civilian contractor doing O-level Airframes at a Marine HMLA squadron. Hueys and Cobras all day long. It's like I am still in! Sometimes I wish I still was till I see the Marines I work with have to stay and I get to go home after 8 hours.
