not interested in ones that were cracked and welded

There's a guy selling a set of poston headers and ported heads and he might sell the headers by themselves. Pics are in the post.;)

I know I saw those they are nice. but im just looking for a cheap used stock manifold that someone has laying around. nothing fancy

Got news for you most are always cracked welded by now!! Some are on 2-3 weld jobs by now!!!! I know this because I have had a lot of these cars. I suggest just pulling yours off and having a competent welder take care of it! My local welder does a awesome job and usually costs me about $15 per manifold

im new to this..Is this one repairable?

thanks, I didnt know they could be fixed over and over again. there are about 5 tiny pinholes that I can notice when I look in the manifold hole and put it up to the light, I figured it was finished.

by this point in the game they are usually on weld job #2 if the car has any miles put on it,yours looks virgin to me . get it welded by a competent welder and you should be fine. do yourself a favor buy 4 new crossover bolts they are metric.otherwise there is a 50% chance they will snap and you will need to remove the manifold again to get them out. the factory header to head bolts are fine to keep reusing.

An unwelded low mileage stock manifold set is worth $500-1000. I've seen one such set in the last 10 years actually come up for sale.

wow, I didnt know they were cost that much. I guess I will look for a welder around here to fix mine. thanks

Drill the ends of the cracks and sand or bead blast the areas to be welded. Use inconel wire. There is no 100% guarantee.

I have a really nice set that has been welded once and been fully ported forsale.

I also have a factory non cracked original as well.

lemme know!
