I bought a TE 45A from my buddy and it came from John Craig set up with a stock style wastegate actuator. We both have TH downpipes, and this worked well on his car, but on mine the arm appears to touch the hole which it protrudes from. I mean the actual hole in the diaphram housing. If I let it "relax", it sits about 1" lower than the arm on my downpipe. I've driven it like this, but haven't really gotten on it. What should I do? I think it should line up better than this.

You can try bending the bracket ( where the bolt holes are ) on the actuator to get it to line up. I had to do that with mine.

I had a problem with wastegate rod alignment on a new Craig TE62...I drilled new holes in the mounting bracket. Can send you pictures if you like.

Regards, Bob

Believe it or not, it fixed itself. I don't know how, but now I have about 1/4" of clearance. I'm thinking about making another peice to make it longer, I need to drop it down a couple pounds.

Thanks guys,
Believe I got it adjusted.

Sam,
Also, think I got a handle on lowering my boost. With a stock wastegate aligned properly and rod lengthen. :D
