Has anyone mounted this sensor in the cat. test pipe/dump pipe? If not, what location is yours in? Thanks

That's where I would like to mount mine Bruce. Was not sure if that location would be too far down stream or if there would be too much vibration in the pipe shortening the life of the sensor. Certainly, this would be the easiest for me to remove and weld the bung to. Thanks Brian

Put bung on friend's test pipe and will put my bung on the front of the cat. Only issue is that the further from the motor you are the more chance of exhaust leaks, but the cat/test pipe is only one joint away from the downpipe so I'm not concerned, and it is much easier to pull the cat than the thdp.

I just put mine in the end of the down pipe right before the cat/dump pipe. I will let you know how it works out. Im still putting the car back together.

Thinking the test pipe might not be such a good idea...... If I uncap the dump, won't that mess up my O2 A/F readings? Wonder if keeping the sensor in the test pipe, but ahead of the dump tube would still work? Thanks for any input!

Yes, you want the sensor, ahead the dump. And by about a foot. And it needs mounted so that the sensor end is below horizontial.

Bruce, are you refering to the physical placement of the sensor? (ie. the bottom 180* of the pipe) or are you refering to the angle the WBO2 sensor is mounted at? (ie. the sensor tip is below the wire end so it will drain moisture). Thanks Brian
