At idle should be around .42-.48 and WOT should be greater than 4.55. I use to get a 4.82 at WOT with the TPS enhancer.

Getting confused.
Thought I read somewhere that if the TPS was above .46 at idle, the car wouldn't think it was idling anymore?

thanks for the quick reply, anyone else confirm those readings so i know 100%.

and how do i adjust it? i just bought a new one. what do i do to install it? thanks.

I've never had any problems at .48. These numbers are the numbers that are recommended by Ken Mosher for tunning with turbolink and anything that comes from has been correct as for as long as I can remember. I've seen these numbers elsewhere too.

Got this off the TurboRegal website.

ECM Sensor Readings
Using an OTC 2000 or TurboLink

Description Idle Values WOT Values
TPS Throttle Position Sensor .36 - .44 4.50 - 4.90

manual from GM says .55 +- .05 (.50 - .60) and it should still recognize idle , dont know why they say to set so low on the turbo ,

ANYONE????

.36-.42 at idle and over 4.0 at WOT.

The thing to do for WOT is making sure the butterfly is actually opening all the way.

"The thing to do for WOT is making sure the butterfly is actually opening all the way."

Question about that.
Doesn't the tranny cable adjustment affect that?
Should I take off the up pipe so I can see, and then adjust the cable and TPS by making sure the butterfly is wide open with the accelerator pedal floored?
I had my TPS set according to specs, but the butterfly wasn't 100% open.
Educate me, please.
Thanks

The throttle valve cable shouldn't have anything to do with it, since you set that cable by opening the throttle all of the way.
