I have a stock intake system. Pretty much everything from the factory is there, excluding the airbox (which has been replaced by a big old K & N).

I think that my MAF is on it's last legs, and I just want to upgrade in general. I want to use one of BuickGN.com's Chrome MAF Pipes, what else will I need to use the LS1 MAF?

I can think of:
LS1 Maf (Should I get one of the performance ones?)
Chrome MAF Pipe
Translator

What else? Adapters?

Shane, you'll need at least a basic translator, you know that. the lt1 3" will be more direst fit with 3" turbo inlet, pipe and k&n filter. the ls1 folter is 3.5" so you will need 3" to 3.5" transition hoses.

If you are going thru all the expense of converting over to the Chevy sensor, might as well go with the LS1. I have 3.5" MAF pipes in stock and the turbo end will work with a stock turbo. You can buy a 3.5" K&N to hook to the end of the MAF sensor if you want to keep the filter under the hood or step up to one of my cold air kits.

Mark-
Explain this to me. I just got off of my second job, and these 16 hour work days are killing me...
Let's say that I go out and get a LS1 MAF and Translator, you have everything else? If I went with the pipe, I would definietly go with the Cold Air Kit to match.
Also, no one answered if I should go for one of the performance MAF's or just a plain old regular LS1 unit.

Performance MAF $$$.
Regular MAF $.
I've not seen any A - B comparisons, however I've also not heard about a butt dyno difference either.

http://www.buickgn.com/3.5mafpipe3.jpg This is a pic of the 3.5" MAF pipe installed on my GN with a TA49 Turbo and the LS1 MAF. If you already have the MAF and Translator, the MAF pipe and cold air kit with filter would take care of everything else you need. All in stock for quick ship!:D
