Warren Oates from Two Lane Blacktop? I am watching a movie called "The White Dawn" from '74 with him and Lou Gosset jr in it.

He died April 3, 1982. I was just watching him on Stripes this weekend. He's a riot in Two-Lane Blacktop.

They're all dead except for James Taylor. Even the girl. For a while now I've wanted to go down to that town in southern Oklahoma where the cops ran them off from the gas station, just for kicks.

I knew Dennis Wilson was dead and James Taylor. Wasn't sure about Oates. Suprised the girl is dead.

Check out the "Lakeland International Raceway Ghost Track" link in MeanBuicks sig. It's a cool Two Lane site. We drive right past that track every year on the way to Bowling Green and I'd really like to stop there sometime.
