Can the valve cover breather grommit and the pcv grommit be found in those "HELP" packages or are they dealer only. Just would like to make one trip to the parts store instead of 10. Its getting closer thanks to you guys!

Those are GM part numbers; did u check your local GM dealer - give their parts counter a call?

yup. Said they are discontinued. I thought I remember someone saying they got theirs from the help section but I ran the numbers u gave me at advance auto and he said they can't get them.

Might check Brain at g body parts, or Kirbins, or Autozone see if they can cross them over.

Im trying to find some to. I will let you know if I have any luck.

Part #s

I read a while back on this board about a two piece pcv grommet that someone thought of. I tried it and it worked great. However I can not remember the part #s. I will do a search and post it if I find it, but I have to tell U that it works great.

Well I hope someone can come up with SOMETHING. I pretty much tracked down everything I need except these two grommets. I saw gbody's got the passenger for 20 bucks, but didn't see anything about a pcv grommet. Damn the little crap for these is expensive. Speaking of pcv's, I went to the dealer to buy a new one and they said they have to order them, IN A BAG OF 10! Screw it, the old ones going back in for a while.

That's a nice website. They have alot of stuff there. A little expensive, but they have it.

Here is what I found............

I haven't installed it yet, (in the middle of an engine rebuild) but I picked up a pcv grommet from the HELP section. The part number on the box I got was 42056.
I hope that helps:biggrin:
