I have a 200R4 that I want to check and record the output pressure before I make any changes. The car is up on jack stands so I am hoping to be able to it without having to lower it down.
I know where to hook the gage but just not sure of the proper steps, ie. idle speed and then at a higher rpm, TV full open and full closed, all gears etc.

Things like that I am not sure about. Thanks

paul

Is this what you are looking for? From an '87 Service Manual.

OK but can I do it with the wheels off the ground? Just put it into gear and stand on the brakes for the various settings?

Unhook the TV cable @ the throttle body--pull the cable by hand while trans is in each gear. Do it @ idle then put something behind the throttle lever to bring RPM up to around 2000 and do again. Record readings. Best of luck.
