What MAF do I have ??

I have the Translator + newer MAF setup. The previous owner installed the parts. I was looking at the MAF and didn't see any of the numbers that have been listed on this board for the LT1 or LS1 Mafs.....

The only number I see is on the top with a bar code. The number is : 05551839014 no GM markings anything else. Any ideas out there??

Measure the diameter of the sensor. What do you have? The LT-1 is about 3-1/4" and the LS-1 is about 3-1/2-> 3-3/4". These are rough numbers.

Ok fair enough. The ID is exactly 3" however this doesn't answer my question of why no GM markings and no correct GM part numbers on the unit.

It looks to be a 3" MAF which should be the LT1 but I wanted to verify that GM hasn't changed the part numbers or something.

Ok it seems that number is FullThrottle's item number ..LOL :redface:
So it is a LT1 3" MAF. I just thought it interesting that no GM numbers exist on the part. Thanks for the help

GM doesn't put any part number or ID's on the LT1/LS1 MAFs. Thats just a serial number that doesn't mean anything. You have to measure it. Sounds like you have the LT1.
