What mods next ?

I have an 87GN.The mods are hotwired 340,open K&N,adj fpr,adj wastegate,hooker exhuast on cat,reds93 chip,KYB shocks,moog springs,scan master.I went 13.51@101mph before any mods where done i'm looking to go mid to low12s.What mods should be next?I plan on getting some BFG DRs.I was thinkin i Should go with some injectors next if so what size? Or maybe a down pipe?

Yes you are on the right track. Tires will make it hook better and the down pipe will make it spool faster.

I'd look at a downpipe, convertor, and injectors as your next big upgrades. The injectors won't really make you go any faster (assuming yours are good), but will give you a nice safety margin once you get into low/mid 12's so you don't lean out once the mph picks up.

To get into mid or low 12's you'll need a good 60' and to run more boost. Maybe look at a line loc and some big rear wheel cylinders and brakes pads to help the 60' along with sticky tires. For the boost, you'll have to pick a higher octane you'll be running and get a race chip for that octane and turn up the boost (up to 22-23lbs max on stock turbo) and get the tune down pat. Most of this stuff is pretty cheap compared to the big upgrades, but takes more time to get right.

I'd get the downpipe next and then do the above stuff and once you get into the high and mid 12's upgrade the injectors when you need to. After that get a bigger convertor and turbo and you're all set.

If you want to go as fast on the street as you will at the track I'd suggest an alky kit as your next mod. Alot of people have had good success with a power plate too. I have both but have yet to tune the car yet to see how much of a difference they made. I can say that with the race chip I was running I was getting knock at 9 psi. I put on the alky kit and had it up to 18 psi and still wasn't getting knock. Every car is different though.

Took my car over to Keith mease this week to have him install the shocks and springs on my car and when i get there to pick it up he says he just went for a test drive and the car feels great and now has alittle more hp.I said yea right must be from the new shocks and then he opens the hood and my face went when i saw my next mod all ready on the car a new 3 inch downpipe.Needless to say i was suprised and very happy.but didn't have the money to pay for the dp so keith said to just pay him when i get it what a great guy.
