I've looked in gnttype.org and can't find what year V6 Buick this is from....
Casting# 25524140
Both blocks have no provision for turbo oil drainback hole.... however they both have sleeved lifter bores. In the center of the lifter valley is a round casting mark and both have knock sensors.
The lifter valley is not like the '86-87 blocks and I'm led to believe these are pre '84 blocks but can't find info on them.
Valley looks like this: http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/images/rim00019.jpg
When disassembled one had an n/a crank... the other a turbo crank... one had 3 dot rods and the other a mismash of 2 and 3 dot rods....
Also they are also 20bolt oil pans....
Anyone know before these make it into the trash whether they are worth keeping?
