Let me start off by saying hello and sorry if this is the wrong forum for this. I have a chance to buy a 1987 Buick Grand National with t-tops (roller). I love buicks, but I don't know a whole lot about the grand nationals, just the basics. I'm a GS person. This car is back-halfed (professionally) and has a 4-link rear suspension. It also has a 12 bolt with a good set of gears. The paint is nice (not perfect). I was also told it has brand new rims and tires on it. I am currently looking for a street/strip vehicle, so I'm interested in this, but I have no idea what a fair price would be to pay for it. I know it's hard to judge without pictures, but if you could just give me an idea I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Brian

my suggestion would be to look on a couple different sites like racingjunk.com and ebay and see what similar cars in similar condition are going for, that would be my starting point. Also take into your consideration your budget and what it will cost to get the car finished.

Without information like mileage, mods and a more in depth description on its relative condition it would be impossible to quote a price. I would suggest you look at the cars in the for sale section on this board. Not only would you be buying from a fellow buick enthusiast but they'd probably always be a click away on this board. And their knowledge can prove Invaluable as you move forward.

Yea look around for prices... Also you did say it's a roller? Are you buying it local to you or out of state..Be very careful check around the t tops for rot and make sure what ever backhalf work was done was done right.... I would hate for you to pay to much for a headache... Pics would help you out alot on this board...
