What's this part???

I found this "valve" or whatever tucked up under the dash when i removed the lower steering column cover, the one with the crotch vent in it. on the back it has two fittings with 2 black vacuum type hoses leading... somewhere??? on the back of it it says "inlet 300psg, outlet 10 psg and temp 150*". the inlet and outlet #'s might be swithched i can't remember but that's what the #'s are. on the knob it has an arrow, +, -, and it says pull and turn to adjust. the hole that i installed it in was already there and i assume that's where it gets mounted. it's right next to the crotch vent of that lower dash cover to the passenger side. it has a lock ring and collar so it must get mounted somewhere.

what is it??

i can't figure out how to load a picture, or i would. maybe someone can help me with this one.

Sounds like a turbonetics Boost Controler to me. Have a look on their site for instructions.
