i cant seem to find this anywhere, is it easier to get to when the car is up in the air? i think it may be causing me some problems..

that ground bolts to the very back of the passenger head...9/16 wrench i believe, you can't really see it from normal views...you have to crawl your butt back there and get a flashlight...I have half my motor apart right now and I still had a hard time putting that ground back on!:D

yea i figured it was hard to get to. is it still possible with the motor all together? is it easier from underneath or no>?

We did this last night.

Pull the coil and module out. Pull the trans dipstick out. Then if you climb up on the car you can get to it. You can try without pulling the dipstick, but you won't be able ot get a wrench on it when the dipstick on.

what would happen to the car if this ground was loose or otherwise obstructed?? just trying to figure out if this is a possible cause to my problems

Those quickwrenches from sears works great. BTW.....What's wrong with your car that you suspect a bad ground?

heres whats happening now:

car seems to idle smoothly, just feels rough inside of car
vaccum guage reads very steady, but less than usual
car ONLY stumbles or hesitates when converter locks up
turbo spools up to normal boost, but car doesnt move as fast as it should
when flooring it from a stop, there is no hesitation, but it takes a while for the car to get going.
when shifting into drive, car seems to stumble a bit
car runs same with MAF unplugged
exhaust note sounds choppy
only things that are off on the scantool are the blms at idle ~140, but when i tap the gas, they go down to ~128-129
o2 crosscounts jump 40-50 at a time at idle instead of 10-20
everything else seems fine on scantool
i know its not the most reliable test, but when tapping the MAF, the engine does not stumble
