On www.johnsperformance.com they have a hot wire kit for the 89 TTA and a hotwire kit for the buick grand national. Now I have a 1991 Pontiac Firebird but the engine is a 87 GN. I have a walbro 340 fuel pump as well but the wiring harness I got was the caspers wiring harness for the 89 TTA they make for 86-87 GN engine swaps. So I am kinda confused here on what I need to get. The 89 TTA hot wire kit or the GN hot wire kit. Thanks.

The only place the hotwire kit interfaces to the wiring harness is where the fuel pump weather pack is back around the tank, I think there were 3 wires in the weather pack. Don't know if these are different between the TTA and the GN, but if they are different, get the HW kit for which ever harness plug you have on your car. The only other connection for the HW kit is the thick wire going to the altenator.
